CCBC is a non‑profit community mental health center serving 50 communities in Massachusetts and growing!
We provide inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care services to adults and children struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and many other conditions. If you are caring, dedicated, and ready to grow your career, we would love to hear from you!
CCBC is seeking Bachelor’s level candidates to join our Therapeutic Mentoring program to serve the Taunton/New Bedford area. Therapeutic Mentors provide one‑to‑one intervention and therapeutic skill‑building to youth ages 7‑21, addressing daily living, social, communication, and emotional regulation challenges. Mentors meet with youth in the community to support and coach the development of self‑management, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills, as well as strategies for effective peer interactions.
Skill building is provided while engaging youth in a variety of social, recreational, athletic, artistic, educational, and vocational activities.
The program follows a collaborative team approach valuing self‑care. Mentors receive trauma‑informed individual supervision from a licensed clinician and training on trauma, early childhood mental health, child development, and crafting skill‑building interventions tailored to each youth.
