American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week travel assignment in a hospital radiology department.
Details- Work in the Radiology department of a teaching hospital
- Monday-Friday day shift, 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours per week
- No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required
- Possible on-call requirements, with call coverage handling the department after midnight
- Approximately 9 patients per shift
- Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech - never works solo
- Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
- Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- GE equipment experience required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
- Must have own vehicle
- License required if applicable
- Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year required for consideration
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- All requested time off must be submitted and verified prior to offer, with a maximum of 5 days accepted
- Scheduling requests made after offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
