Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between. Showing initiative and exercising judgement, you'll design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, analyze effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and design systems, software and equipment layout.

Participating on the engineering work team, you'll develop, implement, install, test, modify and/or operate complex equipment and systems as well as support other team members concerning experiment design, materials, equipment setup/maintenance and related issues.

Track, manage, and reconcile software licenses, entitlements, subscriptions, and renewals to optimize utilization

Maintain accurate software inventory records in SAM tools (e.g., Maximo/Teams)

Support compliance audits and remediation activities to improve the organization's software compliance

Generate timely reports on software usage, compliance trends, and optimization opportunities

Manage software request processes and provide effective support to internal stakeholders

Assist with procurement activities, including vendor communications, quote requests, and creation of engineering instructions (EI) for purchase order processing

Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and program teams for efficient software lifecycle management

Facilitate stakeholder meetings and deliver presentations on SAM initiatives

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Software Asset Management or related roles
• Experience with software license models and compliance management
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite, generative AI and data management tools
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work according to business needs
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• Prior experience in IT procurement processes
• Understanding of software publisher licensing agreements (e.g., Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware)
