The firm is located in the beautiful Berkshires around the corner from Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts. Applicants licensed in other states will be considered.
Berkshire Law Group seeks a senior-level attorney to join our highly regarded Trusts & Estates and Elder Law practice. The ideal candidate must have experience in trust and estate planning, with a proven track record of advising individuals and families, while working with their professional advisors on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.

- One of the few law practices in the U.S. with a RN/Care Coordinator on staff working alongside attorneys and Veterans and Medicaid benefit coordinators.

Responsibilities- Advise clients on complex and strategic estate planning
- Minimize income, gift, and estate tax implications
- Present at seminars, webinars, workshops, and various educational events
- Prepare wills, revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies, and HIPAA releases
- Establish and administer various trusts
- Establish LLCs and specialized trusts for asset protection
- Create sophisticated Family and Life Insurance Trusts
- Formulate charitable giving strategies involving various trust structures
- Advise on MA and federal taxable estate administration
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Experience in estate planning. Trust and estate administration and elder law experience a plus
- Experience meeting with prospective and existing clients with ability to build long-term relationships
- Leadership and management skills, desire to grow and expand firm with path to partnership
- Exceptional skills and efficiency in drafting and reviewing core and sophisticated estate planning and financial documents
- Self-motivated, personable, and able to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, client-focused environment
