Automation Apprentice

Job Summary

The Automation Apprentice will learn to fabricate, repair, and troubleshoot automated operations for the production floor machines. The apprentice will learn PLC, pneumatic, servo, and devices necessary to machine or program to produce parts.

• Design, fabricate, program, and self‑direct operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic machine shop experience measuring devices.
• Basic mechanical background.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Reliable and trustworthy.

• Diploma or higher in advanced manufacturing or machine shop.
• Or currently enrolled in college courses for engineering, automation, manufacturing, or machining.

• Must be able to stand and/or walk 80% of the day.
• Must be able to climb over 15 feet.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
