The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Quality Department maintains each vehicle to Lenco specifications during all steps of the manufacturing process up to and including the finished product. This role enhances, implements, and manages our quality control systems to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance.
What You’ll Do:- Supervise, assist, and direct the work of all Quality Control staff
- Oversee the inspection and testing of vehicles before, during, and after the manufacturing process
- Complete inspections within the shop area, parking area, and on the road to ensure road readiness
- Test vehicles to ensure they are properly manufactured in accordance with Work Order specifications
- Inspect, accept, or reject both internally and vendor‑purchased products as necessary
- Partner with the Production Manager and Engineering Manager to achieve efficient repairs and process improvements
- Develop Quality Control policies and recommend new procedures to improve efficiency and quality
- Manage all documentation of inspection sheets, certificates, receipts, and critical vehicle dimensions
- Adhere to and carry out existing Lenco practices, safety policies, and environmental guidelines
- 8 to 10 years of Quality‑related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical ability to read work orders, interpret specifications, and gauge product quality
- Experience with managing a Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Proven ability to design and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency
- Ability to work in an efficient and timely manner to meet critical production deadlines
- Leadership skills necessary to manage, mentor, and direct a diverse QC team
