Location: Pittsfield, MA

Pay: $24 – $37 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Second Shift (3:30pm – 12am)| Overtime Available

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure seamless production. This role requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and facility upkeep while strictly adhering to safe working practices and procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve mechanical problems to keep production equipment running
  • Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance, including building or machinery
  • Identify and repair potential safety hazards and facility abnormalities within the building
  • Interface with all departments to ensure equipment operation avoids service or production disruptions
  • Update/manage work orders and perform tasks assigned through CMMS
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in manufacturing equipment diagnosis and repair
  • Proficiency with cleaning, maintenance, and manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with forklift and crane operation and compliance
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules, and LOTO compliance
  • Ability to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or by hand truck
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify areas of process improvement and waste reduction
  • Ability to carry out duties within a realistic timeline to meet company deadlines
