Operations Associate, Cell Therapy Supply Chain

Shift AvailableNight shift: 6 pm – 6 am (rotational shift, includes holidays and weekends).
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Deliver the right material to the right location at the right time while adhering to good manufacturing practices and SOPs; recognize deviations from accepted practice.
- Perform routine material operations across the Cell Therapy Facility: cleaning, replenishment, kit building, inventory cycle counting, and warehouse activities.
- Support commercial and clinical cell therapy product manufacture: store finished drug product in cryogenic storage, receive and process patient apheresis material, pack finished product for shipment, and perform material cleaning and kitting operations.
- Execute warehouse activities including goods receipt, raw material put‑away, and material disposal.
- Complete CGMP forms, batch records, and perform SAP transactions per SOP for kit building, material replenishment, cycle counting, and material transfers.
- Review incoming material paperwork for apheresis receipt and apply good documentation practices.
- Collaborate with Materials Operations, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams; engage cross‑functional staff to solve work‑related problems.
- Support event escalation and triage for deviations, CAPAs, and QMS workflows.
- 12‑hour shift (6 pm – 6 am); 24‑7‑365 coverage.
- Operate in a commercial CGMP multi‑product environment.
- Stand and walk within and between grade‑classified suites.
- Approximately 90% of time in the operations space.
- Wear personal protective equipment and specialized gowning; may handle hazardous materials requiring respirator.
- Follow controlled gowning requirements for entrance to suites (Grade 8 and CNC).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in communicating problem statements and escalating concerns.
- ERP experience, preferably SAP EWM; experience with CAPA and QMS workflows, preferably Infinity.
- Prior kitting and delivery of raw materials to manufacturing.
- Experience with cold chain biological materials and cryogenic storage (LN₂) preferred.
- Audit support experience with health authorities (e.g., FDA).
- Familiarity with SAP, MES (Syncade, Delta
V). - Safety and quality mindset and ability to build a culture around these values.
- Experience working in operational suites with various grade levels.
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may substitute.
- Preferred certifications: CPIM, CSCP, CLTD.
- Minimum 2+ years of CGMP commercial biotechnology experience; cell therapy experience preferred.
Location:
Devens, MA – $30.81 – $37.33 per hour.
Starting compensation ranges are listed above for a full‑time employee. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. Final pay will be determined by demonstrated experience.
