Industrial Coating Supervisor

The position provides leadership to coatings technicians, manages workflow, ensures safety compliance, and drives efficiency and quality improvements.

• Supervise daily operations of the industrial coatings department
• Lead, train, and assign work to coatings technicians and support staff
• Ensure proper surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection
• Enforce safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards
• Monitor material usage, equipment condition, and preventive maintenance
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and workflow

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial coatings, painting, or surface finishing
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of coating materials, spray techniques, and surface preparation
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and safety data sheets
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required (technical or trade school preferred)
