Pre Match Technician – Manufacturing | Pittsfield, MA

Our Pittsfield client is seeking a Pre Match Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role is key in ensuring color consistency, quality, and efficiency in the production process. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you. Pay range is $20.50-$21.50

• Prepare and match inks to production orders for consistency
• Perform in-process color checks and mid-run ink adjustments
• Verify ink weights and contents to meet quality standards
• Document processes and maintain accurate production records
• Approve batches for printing operations
• Enter ink formulations into computer systems
• Communicate essential information to the next shift
• Support smooth production flow with safe and efficient work practices

• Positive attitude and dependable attendance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and obtain forklift certification
• Accurate color vision (for precise matching)
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills required
• Vocational training in machine shop operations preferred
• Prior manufacturing or related experience a plus
