The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered products and services meet GDMS quality standards, while also providing quality support to the manufacturing floor as needed.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these skills or experiences:

• Experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Six Sigma or CQE certification
• Background in defense or aerospace manufacturing

What you'll experience:

• Evaluating, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers for compliance with quality requirements
• Conducting supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action follow-ups
• Managing supplier nonconformances and driving root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
• Supporting nonconformance disposition and MRB activities on the manufacturing floor
• Participating in first article inspections and production readiness reviews

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience
• Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for conformance to requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems
• Experience managing supplier documentation, FAIRs, and quality plans

Workplace Options:
This position is fully on-site in Pittsfield MA and we are not offering a relocation package at this time.

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $90,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
