Senior Advanced Electrical Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) Specialist

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Advanced Electrical Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) Specialist to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Pittsfield, MA.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical PCB designs, drawings, and bills of material using ECAD software, while providing technical solutions.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to support project goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet changing business needs in PCB design.
• Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices; complying with the client's policies and procedures.
• Follow industry and departmental trends and developments to ensure the client's services are consistent with and/or superior to industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, is required, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with Xpedition VX2.13 or higher.
• Multi-layer experience up to 28 layers.
• Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication details.
• Experience working in an Integrated Product Team environment.
• Extensive experience in design, drafting, detailing, and packaging of PCB board layout designs that include parts placement, PCB layout, PCB electronic packaging, and PCB drawing generation.
• Experience with troubleshooting design data and configuration problems with outside vendors.
• Ability to multitask and handle numerous jobs simultaneously.
• Independent problem-solving, technical expertise, and the ability to optimize tasks and resources effectively.
• Prefer experience with DDR4, DDR5, Versal devices, other high-speed signals, and their associated constraints management.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
