Job Description & How to Apply Below

Berkshire Immigrant Center (BIC) is a trusted and vital resource for immigrant and refugee communities across Berkshire County, Massachusetts and the surrounding region. Since 1997, BIC has worked to ensure that immigrants can navigate the complex US immigration system with dignity, access, and support. Through affordable legal services, community education, and advocacy, BIC serves hundreds of individuals and families each year — helping them build stable, secure lives while contributing to the cultural and economic vitality of the region.

Deeply rooted in the community, BIC partners with nonprofit, government, and civic organizations to deliver services that are responsive, culturally grounded, and impactful.

Berkshire Immigrant Center seeks a thoughtful and dynamic Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase.

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of BIC and is responsible for the organization’s overall leadership, management, and external presence. This hands‑on role requires the ability to balance internal operational strength with strategic external engagement. BIC seeks a leader who brings strong management experience, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to immigrant communities.

BIC enters this moment from a position of strength: financially stable, highly respected, and supported by a committed Board and staff. At the same time, the organization is poised to strengthen its visibility, deepen partnerships, and expand its impact in ways that are both strategic and sustainable. The next Executive Director will build on this strong foundation while guiding the organization with clarity, discipline, and purpose.
