Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring telemetry experience and a valid MA RN license in hand.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based Med/Surg Float Pool setting
- Telemetry monitoring required as part of patient care responsibilities
- Floating is a required component of this assignment
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- Provides medical-surgical and telemetry care across units as part of a float pool
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested, and all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of consideration — requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer
- Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration
- Active MA RN license currently in hand (facility will not pend licensure)
- Current certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
