Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN with strong pediatric and float flexibility for a 12-hour day shift role in Massachusetts.

• Hospital setting with a primary focus on pediatric patients
• Required to float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum units as needed
• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling is not available for this role
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR, with experience strongly preferred
• Very limited time off will be approved due to small unit size, with a maximum of one holiday and three days or less for other requests
• Must be flexible to float between pediatric, Med/Surg, and Post-Partum units as staffing needs dictate
• Permanent address is required as part of candidate consideration

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of current pediatric nursing experience
• Adult Med/Surg experience preferred for floating
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• BSN preferred
• Recent skills checklists in Pediatrics and Medical Surgical required
• Candidate must have their own vehicle
