As a Lactation Consultant Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive lactation management and support. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for patients with advanced lactation support needs.

• Provide expert assessment, treatment, consultation, and planning for optimal lactation management
• Formulate and communicate interdisciplinary plans of care
• Deliver inpatient lactation programs and outpatient prenatal and postpartum education
• Utilize Meditech Expanse for documentation and care coordination

Requirements:

• Massachusetts RN license
• 1+ years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
• A minimum of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education and consultation experience
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Need 1 year experience in setting
