DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONSThe Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a
Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for
Berkshire Medical Center clinical services.
(Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
ExperienceHas a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
Education and TrainingGraduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
License, Certification & RegistrationLPN - Licensed Practical Nurse
BLS
Other RequirementsDemonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit‑specific scope of practice.
