POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

The Community Health Nurse provides nursing oversight and monitoring to the individuals that BFAIR supports in order to ensure that their medical needs are addressed to the highest standards possible. The position also works closely with the DDS Residential RN, staff and provides education and training as needed.

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Fully licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least two years of experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled.
• Ready access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and BFAIR Human Rights Training.
• Ability to attend workshops, seminars or BFAIR functions as needed for job development.

Training Requirements:
