From post‑surgery and post‑hospital rehabilitation to long‑term care for a chronic illness, our highly skilled care teams provide compassionate attention and specialized care every step of the way.
As a Cook you will:
- Prepare and portion various food items with the highest quality.
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
- Check food storage areas daily to ensure proper food rotation.
- Orient, motivate, supervise and evaluate employees of the production and kitchen component according to established standards and procedures to assure an efficient, effective department.
- Maintain a rapport with other departments to assure that food service can be maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
- Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a courteous and responsible attitude toward staff, residents and visitors.
- Must be able to work effectively with other staff members to produce a cohesive, supportive work environment for the smooth functioning of the community.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively and communicate written and verbally.
Pay rate based on Years of
Experience:
$20‑$24 per hour
$3000 sign‑on bonus, paid in 4 equal payments every 90 days
Weekend and evening differential available
Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem positions available
