Provides supervision of the daily operations on the assigned units. Acts on behalf of the organization, providing supervision for staff members. Participates in the hiring process and disciplinary action as necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of and assures compliance with accrediting/regulatory agency standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures and customer service standards.

• Three years of unit specific experience required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Minimium 2 years current experience in nephrology nursing practice, including charge nurse experience.
• Leadership experience required.
• Experience with electronic medical record and clinical documentation systems required.

• RN required.
• BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Knowledge of software applications (Outlook, Microsoft) required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing BSN preferred.

• RN License
  - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates effectively with patients, family members, physicians, senior leadership and staff.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
