DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONThe Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center clinical services.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS(Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience- Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
- One year of LPN experience required.
- Surgical procedure experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
- CPR
- Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service to meet patient experience standards and expectations for the Family Birthplace.
The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
