Job Overview

Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surgical (Days) position through Bestica, located in Pittsfield, MA.

Hours:

8‑hour day shift with an 8‑hour non‑billable orientation. OT multipliers of 1.25% apply.

• Administer nursing care for Med Surgical patients during day shifts.
• Float to any Med Surgical unit as directed.
• Provide coverage for holiday shifts according to the specified rotation.

• Valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of current Med Surgical experience.
• Telehealth experience required.
• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred.
• Current BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications must be on file at the time of profile upload.
• Own vehicle required.
• Permanent address must be provided in the profile.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

• Unit size: 20 to 34 beds.
• Patient ratio: 1:6.
• Dress code: personal scrubs of any color.
• Holiday coverage: must work two of the following—Thanksgiving & the subsequent Friday/weekend;
  Christmas Eve/Christmas Day & the subsequent Friday/weekend;
  New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day & the subsequent Friday/weekend.

• Weekend and holiday coverage: every other weekend and holiday as needed.
• No on‑call periods.
