RN/First Assistant (RNFA)
Schedule:
Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an RNFA
- Massachusetts RN license required
- Certifications:
CNOR, ACLS, BLS
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Manage the surgical environment and assist in preparation of instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality perioperative care.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes as needed during surgical procedures.
- Provide educational support to patients and families regarding surgical processes and recovery.
Compliance / Notes:
- COVID-19 vaccination required with current booster.
- Conditional licensure is acceptable for hire.
