ICU Registered Nurse

Seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in a fast-paced critical care setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in clinical skills, adaptability to float to related units, and compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive critical care nursing to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including ventilator, ICP, and hemodynamic parameters.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech Expanse and ensure all required documentation is complete before submission.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS certification requirements, and manage emergency situations effectively.
• Support patients and families with compassionate communication and education regarding condition and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Massachusetts RN license uploaded with profile.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Critical Care experience.
• Be willing to float to PCU and other related units as needed.
• Maintain active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred.
• Own reliable transportation; must have a permanent address uploaded in profile.
