Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide high-quality perioperative care for surgical patients. The role involves supporting surgical teams before, during, and after procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians during various surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative changes promptly.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures.
• Document surgical activities and patient responses accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Have at least 2 years of current operating room RN experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scrub and circulate roles in the operating room.
• Hold current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Be able to provide a supervised reference from within the past two years.
• Own reliable transportation for assignment requirements.
