American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position in Pittsfield, MA requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and current MA RN licensure.

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting, with unit size ranging from 20 to 34 beds depending on assignment
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 48 hours per pay period
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Float to any Med/Surg unit required
• Block scheduling not available
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

• Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications through the American Heart Association required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Must have a Skills Checklist for Medical Surgical experience current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference required from within the past two years of employment
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with floating to any MS unit as needed
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted
• Must be available for coverage on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, including surrounding days
• Requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of initial submission; RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for the duration of the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
