Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
This position offers a 12-hour night schedule, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed.
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care for expectant mothers and newborns. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to the highest standards of care in accordance with best practices for breastfeeding and infant support.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being.
- Support and educate new mothers on breastfeeding and infant care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure a safe and positive birth experience.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience.
- Massachusetts RN license.
- Active certifications in ACLS, NRP, and BLS.
- Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to transportation for the assignment.
