Medical Surgical RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights, with every other weekend and holidays required as needed.
Job Description:
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be willing to float to various medical surgical units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience.
- Telemetry experience is required.
- Willingness to float between medical-surgical units is essential.
- Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
- Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
- Must possess active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Current Massachusetts RN license is required.
