Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
12-hour Day shifts, available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and/or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Weekend and holiday shifts required as needed.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing patient needs, and coordinating care with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the Emergency Department and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Document patient care and clinical outcomes accurately in medical records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred).
- Massachusetts RN License (to be uploaded with profile).
- Active American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all must be in hand at the time of profile upload).
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
