Job Description:
Join our agency as an Operating Room Nurse with a focus on proficiency and expertise in surgical settings. As a crucial member of the healthcare team, you will support the surgical staff and ensure optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room environment.
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions during surgery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the surgical area.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in an operating room setting.
- Active Massachusetts RN license.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
- Must provide a permanent address and be willing to travel, as local candidates will not be considered.
