Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care | Pittsfield, MA
Specialty: Critical Care
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed OR 48 hours
Shift Length: 12 hours
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care RN in Pittsfield, MA. The RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed Critical Care unit with an approximate 1:2 patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions.
- Manage ventilated patients and patients requiring ICP and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Float to PCU when required by the facility.
- Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of current Critical Care experience – Required
- Current Massachusetts RN license – Must be in hand
- BLS – American Heart Association – Required
- ACLS – American Heart Association – Required
- NIHSS – Required
- Ventilator experience
- ICP monitoring experience
- Hemodynamic monitoring experience
- Willingness to float to PCU – Required
