As a Radiology RN, you should be prepared to:

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foley catheters, and assist patients with personal needs.
• Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.

Physical requirements:

stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, lift 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. May be exposed to chemicals, infectious diseases.

ACLS, BLS, 2 years recent acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Job . Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
