Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to provide critical emergency care in a fast-paced ER environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in trauma response, patient assessment, and emergency procedures to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer urgent and emergency care to patients presenting with acute conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and prioritize patient needs in accordance with emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and post-discharge care requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Massachusetts RN license and meet state licensing requirements.
• Possess 3+ years of current Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech Expanse or similar EHR systems.
• Have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Own reliable transportation and include address in profile.
• Be available for scheduled block shifts, including holidays, with flexibility for mandatory work blocks.
