DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONSAn educator for adults who functions as consultant, resource person, and teacher to all levels of personnel in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Berkshire Health Systems. Responsibilities include assessing needs, establishing objectives, developing and implementing programs, evaluating outcomes, and maintaining current professional knowledge. The primary responsibility is for the development of staff within BHS and especially in the educator's assigned department.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years professional experience in health care required. Prior relevant experience within assigned preferred.
Education and Training:Bachelor's degree in Education, Nursing or Human Resources;
Master's preferred.
RN - MA RN License
Other Requirements:Knowledge of adult education methods and techniques
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities
Ability to teach all age groups
Registered Nurse if involved in nursing development
The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
