Registered Nurse – CCU (Coronary Care Unit)

Shift: 12.5-hour day shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM), 3 shifts per week

Hospital-level CCU unit providing acute cardiac and critical care
- Weekly pay: $2,222–$2,355 per week
- Shift pattern: 12.5-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, three shifts per week

Massachusetts RN license in hand required; MA license in hand at submission - Support and logistics:

- Provide direct patient care in the CCU for adults with acute coronary and critical care needs
- Perform and interpret critical care assessments, monitoring devices (ventilators, ICP monitors, hemodynamic lines)
- Manage ventilator settings, parameters, and weaning as ordered; respond to ventilator alarms
- Monitor intracranial pressure, hemodynamics, and other invasive monitoring as applicable; document changes and escalation as needed
- Administer medications, draw labs, monitor for adverse effects, and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Document care accurately in charting systems; adhere to infection control and safety protocols; respond toCode/rapid response events per hospital policy
- Licensure:
Massachusetts RN license in hand required (conditional licenses accepted) - Experience:
Minimum 2 years CCU/ICU critical care experience - Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Clinical skills:
Ventilator management, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring; critical care assessments - Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination plus booster required (no exemptions)
- Education:
RN from an accredited program; ability to work in a CCU environment and handle high-acuity patients
