Overview
Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics and Production Control Specialist to support operations as a government contractor. This role coordinates the movement of materials and products through the production cycle, oversees shipping and receiving, and ensures compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, technical aptitude, and government supply chain standards.
A DoD security clearance is required.
- Data transmission for configuration, performance, and hardware status.
- Preparation of acceptance packages for customer submittal.
- Impact analysis for changes in contract requirements documentation.
- Creation and review of quality history packages and technical data packages.
- Configuration management support for factory activities.
- Coordinate and prepare all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with government and company regulations.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience reading and understanding engineer drawings.
- Experience with production flow and recommending efficiency improvements.
- Experience with government shipping regulations, logistics documentation, and inventory systems.
- Experience with technical data packages.
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to manage projects, schedules, budgets, and priorities.
- Current active security clearance.
- Prior work experience in a military/government-related position.
