Medical Sales Representative – Advanced Wound Care (New England)

About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative – Advanced Wound Care to manage and grow sales within the New England territory (MA/ME/NH). The ideal candidate will be based in or near the Boston area and comfortable with regular travel throughout the region.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth within the Advanced Wound Care portfolio across multiple call points in the healthcare market, with a strong focus on:
- Acute Care
- Surgical Settings
- Wound Care Centers
- Alternate Sites of Care
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a performance-driven role requiring strong territory ownership and strategic account development.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or exceed territory sales targets through account expansion and competitive conversions
- Develop and execute effective territory and account plans
- Conduct customer needs assessments and provide tailored clinical solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, WOCNs, and nursing leadership
- Execute contract implementation and maximize GPO and IDN penetration
- Maintain and grow existing healthcare system accounts
- Coordinate internally and externally to ensure successful account execution
Manage administrative responsibilities accurately and on time
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience required
- Healthcare sales experience preferred; wound care or surgical market exposure strongly preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, competitive, strategic, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote sales environment
- Ability to travel overnight and work occasional evenings or weekends (approximately 25–35%)
- CRM experience preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics)
- Base salary range: $70,000 – $85,000
