Sales territory will cover the Pittsfield, MA area. Commission structure includes uncapped commissions, monthly and annual bonus incentives, and recognition awards such as top performer incentive trips. You will receive 8 weeks of paid training, mentorship from local sales mentors and a sales trainer, and ongoing food service industry training. The schedule is flexible to meet client needs and balance life.
Preferred qualifications include: 2+ years of outside sales experience in a hunter role selling business‑to‑business and 2+ years of culinary, restaurant operations, or restaurant management experience (or in lieu of sales experience).

Responsible for the development of independent account business, promoting and selling company‑branded products, and meeting brand sales objectives. You may also support customer service activities for regional or national chain customers to enhance visibility and maximize market share. You will function as a team member within the department and organization and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Job Responsibilities- Generate new business by analyzing sales territory and individual customers; sample products with existing and potential customers; plan sales strategy including time and territory management; conduct effective sales presentations.
- Grow sales and profit margins to meet established goals.
- Set up new customer accounts by determining pricing; work with Credit Department for authorization; coordinate with other center personnel for scheduling, order‑taking, and deliveries; perform follow‑up to ensure delivery and product satisfaction.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exemplary service and coordinating efforts to prevent and resolve customer problems; may be responsible for deliveries in emergency situations.
- Build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
- Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring compliance with credit terms and following up on any issues.
- Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the territory, especially for commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 6–12 months of sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Annual base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000.
