JOB OVERVIEWThe Electrician/Video Technician will provide technical support for both lighting and projection systems. This position focuses on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of video hardware alongside general electrics duties.
REQUIREMENTS- Install and maintain projectors, media servers, video monitors, and cameras across all venues.
- Assist with hang, focus, and strike of lighting and projection instruments.
- Assist in programming lighting computers, projections, and consoles as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance on conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures and video components.
- Assist in building specialty items, including LED tape projects and custom practicals.
- Help maintain a clean shop and organized inventory for both lighting and video assets.
- Other duties as assigned by Production Management.
- Experience with HD video systems, projectors, and signal routing.
- Working knowledge of theatrical lighting fixtures and DMX control.
- Basic soldering and electrical wiring skills.
- Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights.
