Studio Assistant Job Pittsfield area,Massachusetts USA,Trades / Skilled Labor

Lucca House is looking to hire a studio assistant.

Your responsibilities include:

Assembly and Quality control of the grid system
Inventory management
Problem solving and prototyping
Experience in fabrication/ trim carpentry.
Knowledge of edge banding and plywood construction
Knowledge of tools and furniture assembly techniques
Accuracy and precision in work
Ability to work in a team
Manual dexterity
offsite install days
Responsibility for assigned tasks
Willingness to learn and improve professional qualifications

Driving license (optional)

Your skills and experience include:

experience production & assembly / woodworking
Fine motor skills and experience with hand & power tools, and packaging
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem solving
Professional and clear communication between team members and clients
An ability to read and understand production drawings and instructions
Experience with shipping via Fed Ex, DHL, and freight is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50lb

Compensation is based on experience

Job is a 1099 position / flexible hours working towards full time.
