Interested candidate will coordinate with counseling and mentoring personnel to facilitate multi-systemic wraparound services for at-risk youth (ages 10-24) within the city of Pittsfield, MA.
Your experience will be working within the local community agencies and employers in a human services capacity.
Knowledge & understanding of the systemic, socio-economic, educational & other challenges.
Informed trauma & knowledge of gang culture.
Ability to meet individuals where they are.
Build community connections and work as a member of a supportive team.
Focuses on preventing, intervening, and suppressing gang involvement and youth violence with program participants.
Knowledge and expertise gained from a person's own personal, firsthand encounters is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish and other languages other than English is a strong asset.
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred. Outreach and case management experience strongly preferred. Data collection experience a plus. Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office.
