The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking a full‑time Family Engagement and Attendance Coordinator for Pittsfield High School. This non‑bargaining position focuses on supporting families with attendance concerns and addressing issues of excessive absences, tardiness, and truancy. The Coordinator will investigate cases and make recommendations to improve student attendance.
Responsibilities- Support families with attendance concerns, investigate excessive absences, tardiness, and truancy, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Advocate for children and parents, fostering connections with community service providers.
- Use student data to support successful engagement.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, work independently, and be self‑motivated.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
