RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a Case Manager working collaboratively with the Legacy Mentoring program in Pittsfield, MA.
Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one support and case management to participants who have been commercially sexually exploited. This includes weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings (depending on recovery stage), each lasting 1-2 hours. Meetings may take place wherever the participant lives.
- Provide effective advocacy, case management, and refer participants for additional community services as needed.
- Ensure program participants have identified medical providers and access to community services.
- Assist participants in identifying and assessing immediate and long‑term needs, including safety, well‑being, and self‑sufficiency.
- Develop and facilitate treatment plans and diverse psycho‑educational groups.
- Document each contact with participants using designated reporting forms and data collection tools.
- Collaborate with team members to develop appropriate support services, education, and treatment plans for each mentee.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, to enhance youth safety and facilitate prosecution when appropriate.
- Attend supervision meetings with the Legacy Program Coordinator and weekly staff meetings.
- Attend mandatory training as required for the position and track training hours.
- Serve as a positive role model consistent with agency guidelines on professionalism, boundaries, and ethical standards.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor within the position’s scope.
- Bachelor’s level degree preferred in human services, criminal justice, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with youth in out‑of‑home placements.
- 1-2 years of experience working with at‑risk youth.
- High level of self‑awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
- Must pass a background check, including CORI.
- Bi‑lingual ability is a plus.
40 hours per week, from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional flexibility for participant groups or recreational activities. No on‑call rotation required.
