Responsibilities
Support young parents (teens to age 23) in developing the necessary skills and knowledge to be competent parents, live independently, lead productive lives, and ensure healthy growth and development of their children.
Act as liaison connecting young parents to community services, groups, resources and pro-social activities.
Conduct outreach, facilitate groups, complete assessments and work collaboratively with other service organizations.
QualificationsKnowledge of child and family development and community services, working from a strengths-based perspective.
Ability to work with a diverse population of young parents to develop skills across a number of life domains.
Bachelor degree preferred;
Associates degree with 2 years relevant experience in family support.
Background and driving record checks required.
BenefitsPay Rate: $22.02/hour
