The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking a candidate for the position of Family Engagement and Attendance Coordinator for Taconic High School.
This is a non-bargaining position.
Job Requirements- Bachelor's Degree required
- Supporting families with attendance concerns and regarding excessive absences, excessive tardiness, and truancy and will investigate and make recommendations in all school cases
- Experience serving as an advocate for children and parents; experience in fostering connections with community service providers.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; self-motivated. Ability to use student data to support successful engagement.
