We're hiring Relief/Per Diem Float Counselors to support two of our programs in Pittsfield: FOH Berkshire House and Respite.

About the Programs:

FOH Berkshire House: A 24/7 peer‑led transitional housing program staffed by counselors and case managers, providing wraparound supports for individuals navigating recovery and housing stabilization.

Respite: A 24/7 short‑term residential program offering temporary housing and support services for individuals transitioning between living arrangements. Clients have access to clinicians, nursing support, psychiatric consultations, and wellness groups.

Starting Pay: $/hour

What You’ll Do:
  • Build therapeutic 1:1 relationships with clients.
  • Support daily living activities including cooking, recreation, & support.
  • Participate in treatment planning and case coordination.
  • Perform hourly client checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Prepare meals during evening shifts and coordinate with shift team.
  • Support a safe, trauma‑informed environment.
  • Help with basic program operations such as transportation and supply shopping.
  • Respond to and triage crisis calls as needed.

  • Meaningful Impact: Provide consistency, care, and compassion to clients navigating life transitions.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in Human Services or behavioral health preferred.
  • Flexibility to float between two Pittsfield program sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability for evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts preferred.
