Software Engineer – Pittsfield, MA (Full Time)
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring Software Engineers to work on advanced defense and technology systems.
Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software applications
- Work with cross‑functional engineering teams
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle
- Develop software for advanced military and defense systems
- Maintain documentation and technical reports
- Troubleshoot and improve existing software systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
- 0–2 years of experience (entry‑level) or equivalent
- Agile software development experience preferred
- Ability to obtain U.S. Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Programming in C / C++
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of network switches and embedded systems
- Experience with version control tools such as Git Lab
USD 95,000 – 105,000 per year
