Description
The biBerk/BHDIC Human Resources team is looking to bring on an additional entry to mid-level candidate to work alongside our benefits team! This is a hybrid position and requires in-office work in Pittston, PA.
Job Responsibilities- Assist with open enrollment, new hire enrollments, life status changes, terminations and day-to-day administration of our plans.
- Assist with the intake and processing of FMLA, disability, and personal leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and company policies.
- Act as the first point of contact for benefits questions, providing clear, empathetic communication.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve employee benefit issues.
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, benefits, or leave administration.
- Basic understanding of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and ERISA regulations.
- Basic knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, Bswift) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and organization skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
