Construction Safety Observer

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety walks on individual construction sites
• Evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of the contractor's hazard assessments (JHA's, Good Catch, etc). When compliance and/or non-conformance is observed, immediately bring the issue to the attention of those individuals and key stakeholders as appropriate
• Prepare Site Specific Safety Plans to conformance to Project Manual requirements.
• Support client initiatives as requested

• Strong construction backgroun
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills
• Completion of OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification
• Strong communications skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
