- Pittston Center End Date   10/04/2026## Overview Salary Range $52,814.48 Salary Position Type Full Time## Description Assists in the administration of the Extension Center; counsels students regarding educational programs, course offerings and college and career choices; assists in referring students to appropriate sources of information, departments and outside agencies that provide needed services; collaborates with academic and student support personnel in assisting students with problem-solving activities;

coordinates career and student assistance programs; develops and administer surveys; needs assessments; assists with registration and testing; assists in program development; assists with grant activities. Monday
- Thursday 10am-6pm and Friday 8am-4pm
** Non-Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities**---Other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications

* Education:

** Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Business or related field;
Master's preferred.

* Experience:

** Three (3) years experience in education or counseling or academic advising or educational recruiting.
*
* Skills:

** Knowledge of the principles and practices of education and counseling; ability to communicate effectively both oral and in writing; ability to exercise critical human relation skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with students, the college and the community; grant writing preferred.
